| Lucky Girl |
I really am a lucky girl. Saturday "S'(the husband) and I went on a motorcycle ride for "The American Heart Association". I rode my own for this one. "S' picked up a cute little blonde girl to ride the last 2 stops with him. She needed a ride back to the last stop and "S' was kind enough to lend her the back of his bike. LOL! I didn't mind, I was right there riding behind them. No harm done. Although I did give him quiet a hard time about putting a little cutie on the back of his bike now that I have my own. He knows I was teasing but it was still fun to harass him. It was a year ago today that I got my own motorcycle. What a Mother's Day present that was. I got a 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider. It was a wonderful day to ride. It was warm, sunny and well, I now have a nice sunburn on my shoulders. Oh well, they will be brown by tomorrow
I have 2 great daughters. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did exactly what I wanted to do. Which by the way wasn't much. I did a few things around the house (picking up, that sort of thing) and I played in the yard with my flower beds a little. I went to visit my Mom for a little while. I took her a little present for Mothers Day. She gave me an adorable breast cancer awareness bracelet. I totally love it. I left my Mom's and went to visit my girlfriend "AS" for a little while. After the week she had last week I thought I would spend a little time with her. It made me realize how much time we have missed just hanging out. After that, home to watch my Sunday night ritual-"Extreme Home Makeover" and of course, "Desperate Housewives". Oh yeah, I got to spend some time with that sweet little grandson of mine also. "A" and "J" came by for a while to watch EHM with us. I really had an enjoyable day. Kicking back, spending time with my family and friends.
