| Bad Nana!! |
| On Sunday Shyanne and I watched Aidan for a few hours. No biggie, right? WRONG! Nana thought Aidan's finger nails were to long so I decided to cut them. I know, you already know where this story is going right? Well, I made it through most of them until I cut his little thumb. You are probably thinking, "Oh, I have done that". NO YOU HAVE NOT! I truly believe that no one has ever cut there child or grandchild as bad as I did. I am really not sure who was more upset, me or Aidan. I realize that it was an accident. I just really can not believe that I did it. It was bad. It bled and bled. Amyjo came over to help me. She got Aidan and I both calmed down. All she did was pick him up. Amyjo seems to think he was upset because I was so upset.Hours later I called Amanda to check on him and have her take off his bandage to make sure it had stopped bleeding. As if I wasn't feeling bad enough, it had not quite bleeding. Amanda took him to Urgent Care. No stitches! Yeah! It is now healing fine and Nana is feeling a little better. I still have that pit in my stomach every time I think about it. I really was hoping that his first accident would be self inflicted just because he is a boy after all. I now know that I will never cut his nails again! NEVER! Labels: grandchild, nana, stitches |
